Sleeping outside so others can sleep inside? That’s what the CEO Sleepout is about. On Monday, 2 November 2026, business leaders and supporters in Manchester will camp out under the stars at the Emirates Old Trafford CC.
Our partner org Coffee4Craig will be among the businesses present! They are a local homelessness charity in Manchester. We collaborate with them to deliver our improv comedy workshops for people who are experiencing homelessness. The workshops are currently happening every Sunday at Coffee4Craig’s building The Meanwhile. More info here.
Coffee4Craig were recently featured in an ITV news report (with none other than our brilliant improv artist Jade Fearnley making a cameo while volunteering and peeling apples!). The charity needs £30k a month just to keep the doors open. They serve 32,000 hot meals a year to people in need. The rising cost of living is affecting their operations, too.

We are sharing this on our news because supporting our partner orgs is close to our hearts! If you would like to help them, there are a few things you can do:
You can register for the CEO Sleepout! And the good news is, you don’t actually need to be a CEO. You just need your sleeping bag and be willing to raise or donate £800 for grassroots charities. This could be your chance to experience something different, perhaps pretend to be a CEO to your friends, and support a good cause along the way. You can register here.
If sleeping outside is not your thing, you can donate to the fundraisers of those who are more outdoorsy-inclined. For example, the one from Coffee4Craig’s leaders Risha and Hendrix Lancaster, who will participate in the CEO Sleepout. This way, you donate directly to them. They are currently setting up their fundraising page. In the meantime, here is the donation page of the C4C website.
If you are not in a position to donate, you can spread the word about this. Just send this blog post to some friends or share it on your socials. And if you know someone who might benefit from our free improv comedy workshops, send them our way!
